The league received a visit from WTNH news reporter Crystal Haynes AKA Crystal Brawler. As Connecticut Roller Girls' newest honorary member, Crystal Brawler was a great sport and donned the infamous derby knee high socks, a CTRG shirt, full gear and skates and allowed herself to be whipped into the pack by Sabotage member Miz Con SepJen.
Eleanor Bruisevelt and Miz Con SepJen from CTRG's Stepford Sabotage were invited to appear on WTNH Channel 8's CT Style program Wednesday, October 28. Miz and Elle showed the hosts some moves! You can watch the segment in the player below.
Like most derby girls (or any sane human), we love a fair! And what bigger fair is there in fall in New England than The Big E?!?
The super sexy and much loved Uncle Leon will again be hanging out with the CT RollerGirls at the April 17th bout! His "Roller Derby Saved My Soul" CD will be available to purchase at this bout and Leon will be on hand to autograph it for you. His shirts, tees and booty shorts will be available at the CTRG merch table. If you ask nice enough, he may autograph the merch too!
We are super psyched that Leon is taking time out of his busy schedule to cheer on Stepford Sabotage as they take on London Roller Girls. And of course, Leon will be joining CTRG at the after party!
