How did you get involved with Roller Derby?

Fred Perrywinkle, the Brutals' coach and a CTRG ref was my boyfriend's roommate. He kept disappearing to derby practice so eventually we went to watch him play with the Death Quads. It was a double header that also happened to be the Brutals' inaugural bout. I was nervous, but when Bonnie Voyage said she'd try out with me I decided to go for it.

How did you decide on your Derby alias?

Before derby I used to make jokes that with my attitude and the right training I could be the next Kimbo Slice. I love him, even if Dana White doesn't.

Your favorite thing about Roller Derby?

The feeling of accomplishment you have after a really great practice or game and sharing that feeling with a really great group of girls.

Worst injury?

So far? Arm's full of bruises so bad that I needed to wear a cardigan to a job interview on a 90 degree day.
