Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at CTRD
The diversity of our league members, volunteers, staff, and community unequivocally strengthens Connecticut Roller Derby (CTRD), and expanding representation will significantly enhance it further. We firmly commit to these values and to vigorous activities and efforts that will measurably increase our organization's diversity.
When we talk about "diversity" as a value, we refer to a wide range of factors: socioeconomic status (social class), gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, ability, culture, language, and all other categories of social difference within our members. Each CTRD skater, volunteer, and official embraces this value and actively participates in this commitment. We aim to galvanize a robust dialogue within CTRD and the roller derby community.
We will consistently update the community on ways to actively engage in these ongoing efforts and conversations as they evolve.
Members who experience discrimination, racism, or other violations of the CTRD Code of Conduct are encouraged to contact the Human Resources Head at hr@ctrollerderby.com for support
