CT Roller Derby New Skater Bootcamp
Are you interested in roller derby tryouts, but feel unprepared? Do you want to see what roller derby is all about before you commit? If so, sign up for our 2018 Bootcamp, hosted by the skaters of CT Roller Derby! This bootcamp is a 6-week program, providing close training to prepare attendees to join our league. Taught by the CT All Stars, you will learn the basic skills of roller derby that will be assessed at our August 30th tryout. Meet the league, learn something new, step (skate) out of your comfort zone! Cost is $100 for all 6 weeks, including skate and gear rental. Gear is available at a first come first serve basis. Must be 18 years old and have primary healthy insurance. This program runs on Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:30, from July 19 to August 23. Tryout fee waived for all bootcamp participants, bootcamp fee is non-refundable.
